THE SIMPLE TOWN OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

Greenfield is a small town in state of New Hampshire, United States. Its total population is around 2000 people. It is home to the famous Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Centre.

Earlier, the town was named as Lyndeborough Addition, but in a while the local people changed its name to Greenfield. The name symbolises the fertility of the town’s soil.

It is a town that is located within the area of Merrimack River Watershed, including other water bodies like stony brook, Contoocook River, and Otter Brook. It is beautiful, quiet and pleasant town that is good for relaxing holidays. Greenfield is surrounded has natural beauty all over. One of the most amazing attractions of Greenfield town is the Wapack Trail, the oldest trail of United States. Even though Greenfield is a small town, it has the honour that the trail passes through this wonderful town as well. It is a 21 miles long trail that gives an opportunity to the tourists to see the vibrant, exclusive landscapes that are covered with mountain terrains and trees.

Another attraction is the Wapack Range, which passes through the town. The range is famous for its unique species of animals and plants. The peak of this range is known as the North Pack Monadnock Mountain. The mountain has a height of nearly 2276 feet. Various adventurous activities like, trekking, hiking, biking etc cab be experienced here.
