High School Made Easy

For some of us thoughts of getting A’s in high school is about as possible as our mom letting us go away for the weekend with our friends. The possibilities are just about as small and not nearly as interesting. But what if things changed? Not that our classes somehow got easier, but we somehow managed them better? Could we really make the grades then?

Balance. It’s one of those terrible words we don’t want to think about. Nothing can be balanced in a world of school, work and friends. But what if we were to think about it? Plan our day? Put the most important things as well as people, first? Making a list of how you spend your time during a typical week will give you a head’s up on how better to plan it in the future.

Study with friends only when it becomes a necessity; like right before a test. Few friends actually study together unless they’re at a library where they’re expected to be quiet.

Don’t procrastinate. If you are procrastinating that dreaded assignment, it will more than likely rear its ugly head during the worst possible time; like when your best friend shows up, for example.

Use the study guides provided by your teachers. These guides give you the biggest hint about what is going to be on the test. If you teacher doesn’t provide you with a study guide make sure you take great notes.

High school doesn’t have to be hard, but to make the best grades possible; you must do more than the very least expected of you.
