If you are looking for a place to take your family for a vacation, look no farther than Disneyland. Disneyland is everyone’s fairytale, no matter the person’s age or profession. There are five Disneyland theme parks throughout the world.
The first and original Disneyland is in Anaheim, California. It was built in 1955. When Walt Disney first created Disneyland, he envisioned a location where families would come frequently and be amazed at the changes. He wanted amusement rides to replace the old rides as more Disney movies were released. Fourteen of the original rides are still working today, some of those rides include the Dumbo Ride, Disneyland Railroad, Storybook Land Canal Boasts, and Snow White’s Scary Adventures.
The other resorts include Walt Disney World Resort, also known as the Magic Kingdom, in Orlando, Florida, Disneyland Resort in Paris, Frances; Tokyo Disney Resort east of Tokyo; Hong Kong Disneyland Resort located on Lantau Island. The newest resort was the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort which opened in 2005.
At the Magic Kingdom located in Florida, the entire resort has several different rides. The rides depend location of the resort you happen to be at. There are six sections of the Magic Kingdom. They are Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Mickey’s Toontown Fair, and Tomorrowland.
In Adventureland, you can ride on Aladdin’s magic carpet or take a boat ride through Pirates of the Caribbean world. Frontierland had Splash Mountain and Tom Sawyer Island if you want a more outdoorsy feel to your adventure. At Liberty Square, take a ride through a haunted mansion or at Fantasyland ride with some of your most favorite characters such as Ariel, Snow White, and Dumbo. In Mickey’s Toontown Fair, you can see how Mickey lives. In Tomorrowland, ride Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, or join Stitch’s Great Escape.
